IDEM’s K-15 and K-15-SS Tongue Interlock Safety Switches, designed and manufactured in the UK, are designed to provide position interlock detection for moving guards.
They are designed to fit to the leading edge of sliding, hinged or lift off machine guards.
They offer a compact 86mm long body to fit to applications where space is restricted, yet offer 3 pole contacts (2NC 1NO or 3NC options) and provide installers with a choice of 3 conduit entries for wiring versatility.
Choice of polyester head (K-15) or stainless steel 316 (K-15-SS) which is perfect for heavy use.
The head can be rotated to give 4 actuator entry positions. For extra durability, flexible actuators and stainless steel head versions are available.
Contact blocks are also replaceable.
