With a mirror polished Stainless Steel 316 housing the MK1-SS Compact Tongue Interlock Safety Switch from IDEM has been designed to provide robust and durable position interlock detection for small moving guards.
The compact nature of the MK1-SS enables it to fit to the leading edge of sliding, hinged or lift off machine guards. Ideal for channels or where space is at a premium the MK1-SS fulfills all these requirements.
The mirror polished surface finish (RA10) coupled with an IP69K ingress protection rating makes the MK1-SS ideally suited to the food processing and packaging environments.
The rugged Stainless Steel actuator profile is designed to match a patented cam mechanism to provide a positively operated not easily defeatable interlock mechanism.
The compact body, 30mm wide with 22mm fixing centres and rotatable head makes the MK1-SS easy to install where space is restricted.
The rotatable heads have dual actuator entry positions to give up to 8 different entry positions.
A Plastic Flexible Actuator is available for tight radius guards.
Contact blocks are offered in a 2NC 1NO configuration and are replaceable.
