Designed and manufactured in the UK the INCH-3 Compact Safety Interlock Switch is a member of the same family as the INCH-1 and MK1-SS and has been designed to provide position interlock detection for small moving guards.
Designed to fit to the leading edge of sliding, hinged or lift off machine guards they are the perfect switch when space is at a premium and a compact body is a requirement.
The rugged stainless steel actuator profile of the INCH-3 is designed to match a patented cam mechanism to provide a positively operated not easily defeated interlock mechanism.
3 conduit entry points are available to give flexible mounting options.
Contact blocks are replaceable and offered with 2NC 1NO configuration.
COMPACT:
The compact body is 25mm wide with 18mm fixing profile and rotatable head makes the INCH-3 easy to install where space is restricted.
The rotatable heads have dual actuator entry positions to give up to 8 different entry positions.
STAINLESS STEEL GUIDE:
To assist with guard alignment IDEM recommend that you use the Stainless Steel Guide accessory (Part Number 140179).
