Approvals:

The INCH-1 Compact Tongue Interlock Safety Switch has been designed to provide position interlock detection for small moving guards.

Manufactured in the UK they have been designed to fit to the leading edge of sliding, hinged or lift off machine guards. The narrow width and length of the INCH-1 is perfect for narrow channels where space is at a premium.

The rugged stainless steel actuator profile is designed to match a patented cam mechanism to provide a positively operated not easily defeated interlock mechanism.

COMPACT BODY:

The compact body only 25mm wide with 18mm fixing centres and rotatable head makes the INCH-1 easy to install where space is restricted.

The rotatable head has dual actuator entry positions to give up to 8 different entry positions.

Three types of actuator are available for the INCH-1. Type A: Angled, Type F: Flat and Type PF: Plastic Flexible which is available for tight radius guards.

Contact blocks are also available as replacements and are offered with 2NC or 1NC 1NO contacts.
